Derive a general expression fot the instantaneous velocity

as a function of time, and from it find v at t = 1.0 s and t= 2.0s. we take the derivative of the expression for x. For any n the derivative of t^n is nt^n-1, so the derivative of t^2 is 2t, and

v=dx/dt = (5.0 m/s^2)(2t) = (10 m/s^2)t.

At time t= 1.0 s, v= 10 m/s, t=2.0 s, v = 20 m/s
